Member Monday - This week we talk to Marty Essers .....
What 3 words best describe yourself? Cheerful, analytical, beer-full. How long have you been doing CrossFit? 2 1/2 years with a few breaks. Favourite/least favourite WOD? Cardio-gassy WODs / Anything with burpees. Favourite/least favourite exercise? Presses and running / Burpees. Hobbies outside of CF? Music, Mountain Biking and anything with mates. Occupation? IT Project Manager... It's as exciting as it sounds 😉 Favourite cheat meal? Paleo or not, Lol! Bloody hell, where to start. Grilled toasties, oozing with cheese... And any kind of Italian. Do you like fish? 🙂 Love Fish! Just not sh**y fish 😉 Any goals you hope to achieve on the ROD? A strict pull-up... But I might need to lay off the toasties. Any advice for a new member up on the ROD? Rip in, have fun and don't take it too seriously. Lastly tell us a joke 🙂 Really, I suck at jokes. Well, I should really practice my Dad jokes (queue Nat groaning). Q. How does the pope pay for things on eBay. A. He uses his papal account. Terrible 😉
