Front Squat

- The Front Squat is one of the core lifts in terms of strength training. It has HUGE "bang-for-your-buck" effect and should be revered as one of the lifts we want to make as string as possible.
- It carries over very well to our Olympic lifts as we need to stay very upright in our deep positions. Not only that but our abs have to work overtime just to keep us from caving in. All this points to a very heavy day at the "office"!!
- Aim to have your first woking sets at or above the 80% mark of your 1-rep max. Do that and you ensure each and every sets will strike a bit of nervy fear into the system (safety & form withstanding of course!!).
- Come in, watch each other lift, cheer each other on like you're at the footy and see if we can get a brand new 5RM!!!!!
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
