- Going on from last weeks Hang Power Cleans, we will look to see if we can push the envelope on what you are capable of.
- If we are using the correct techniques (which we are!) you should see yourself able to move some more weight by virtue of the fact you are pulling all the way under the bar into the Front Squat position. Really make good use of the legs see and don't get caught in the trap of over-using your arms to pull the bar upward.
- We stick to just the 4 working sets today. Make them count and see if you can hold some high percentages in all sets. We will then move onto the gold ole fashioned Front Squat. Just 3 working sets on these. This should see us lifting a bit more still (than the cleans), plus we have our CBD Benchmark Cycle WoD Retest on your 3RM Front Squat coming up soon. Use today to gauge where you are at in preparation for that.
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
