- Pulling Under! It what it's all about today.
- The Hang SQUAT Snatch is a wonderful strength movement on its own right but one that can develop your Snatch movement and see you make those gains you have been after. Especially if you find that you are getting stuck at the certain number. For anyone new to the Olympic Lifting moves breaking the overall move into something like what we have today, or even a Hag Power Snatch, can be an excellent learning tool at light weight in feeling it out.
- For us Coaches it also helps us determine where your main Snatch lift might need work. Can you hang snatch more than you can full snatch? If so, maybe there is an issue with your initial pull off the floor or not enough opening of the hips? Can you full snatch more than your hang snatch? Maybe again thee is an issue with your initial "first pull" off the floor, this time maybe its too quick off the ground and the bar gets away from you a bit?
- In anywise lets move some weight, hit those Heavy 3's and come away with more knowledge & confidence in your "Oly" lifting afterward.
