- Heavy Day on the ROD!!
- People often look at "Heavy Days" & ask why we do it, or why isn't there anything else involved that day. Well as you know (at least if you're a member of CBD you do), we pride ourselves on teaching & coaching things very well. To really give a Heavy Day your absolute best attention & effort you need not to be distracted by a huffy-puffy WoD that may be on offer further down the class time. What you in actual fact most likely need is to have your movement looked at, respond to any coaching cues that come your way &, quite possibly the most important aspect, lift as Heavy as you can do with your technique remaining in tact.
- There are seven sets to record today. Each one should have you thinking heaps in the lead up to the lift. Once you've completed a set sit down & take a moment to self-assess where you could have done better & make those changes to your next set.
- Trust us, if you actually give it your all you will find that these will be 14 of the most taxing receptions you will do this week!
- Plus, who doesn't love a good chance to sit back, watch one of your buddies attempt a lift, & high-five them after?!?!
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
