WoD: "Redemption"
Complete 3 Rounds For Time
of:
15 Power Snatches
15 Thrusters
.
M: 42.5 kg --|-- W: 30 kg
.
- We kick off the week with such a simple and beautiful couplet. This isn't to negate the actual movements themselves, the power snatch in particular being a complex movement that requires tons & tons of practice just to get it right.
- We are referring to the simplicity of having "just two moves" in front of you, "just" 3 rounds of them, and "only" 15 reps of each!
- These factors are what will make this a kick-ass workout. Quite simply it is Fitness on a plate!!
- Consider the prescribed weight as light to moderate at best. You want to have the ability to hit that opening set of power snatches in 2 sets or less to set the tone for the rest of it.
- Also, check back to Friday 8th Feb. Yes, 10 short days ago. We hit up the very same same barbell combo in addition to some toes to bar. The weight prescribed that day was LESS than today but what we saw on the day was some struggles happening. If on that day you struggled with there barbell weight then consider today doing that very same weight and getting yourself some REDEMPTION.
- Let the fun begin!
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
