- We are already coning to the end of the second month of your BRAND NEW 2019 CrossFit CBD Benchmark Cycle!!
- We had a ball testing ourselves on the last Benchmark Cycle seeing where we stacked up in our overall fitness levels. We are at heart a General Physical Preparedness , or "GPP", gym but it is always good to check in and see where you are at in terms of your fitness. This is why we have the "BCW" in place. It helps us gather data to see where the holes lie, as a gym, in our GPP. Last year brought some great achievements and PR's and we are totally sure this new cycle will prove the very same.
- By the way. If you aren't aware yet of what that all means then read here to see the original Blog post, & then click here to see ALL the Benchmark WoDs you will be getting tested on multiple times over this year.
- To truly be varied in our Benchmarking & testing we must test across a multitude of modalities.
- Today its about Strength AND Technique! The idea here is to, if moving well enough, to and load and build across the 20 (yes 20!) Snatches. Start light, around the 50% mark of your 1RM and SLOWLY build it across the minutes. If you miss an attempt you are allowed to have another go at it. Your score today is TOTAL KILOS MOVED across 20 reps. If you miss one minute that will impact your score. Do you then start to game plan and try and hold some "doable" numbers across the board or do you try for glory see if that 1RM is in sight today???
