- First Saturday of the year and we kick it off with a nice long WoD to sink your teeth into. Given that we are working for 30 minutes this means we should pace appropriately. We will be tapping into the "aerobic pathway" where our bodies are learning to adapt in the moment and utilise & process oxygen throughout the body (which will enable us to continue working for longer, continuous bouts of time).
- With that min mind THE GOAL TODAY is to make our run paces the same each time. Yes, even the 800m run in the middle, we want that ran at the very same pace you hit your 1 mile in (If you have a watch or stopwatch bring it along to make life easier). Keep a steady and unbroken nature to the moves when back in the gym too.
- Consistency is the name of the game. Can our bodies & minds show up and perform when asked??
- Overall goal is to get into the second round.
- Scale any numbers needed to meet these aims.
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
