- Been a big week (as always!!) on the Rooftop of Dreams. Let's end the week with some fast, dynamic movement!!
- This workout provides a great opportunity to make some progress on a move that potentially causes you difficultly. Each one has an element within it that requires thought & attention. We know we would probably say that about all moves we teach but allow us to make a bit of a point of it today. The doubles. An arch nemesis for many a person. Come up here with the attitude of trying to master them and not refer to singles as a "go-to". The toes to bar. A move that for many proves elusive. The tricky part for most people being linking reps together. This is where the seemingly "basic" kip swing comes in to play. Look to harness your kipping ability and work that for the skill it is rather than swing hit & drop over & over. Lastly the hand-release push up. The push up itself is an underestimated move that some take for granted. Yet we here at CBD revere it and want you to be blimin perfect at it! The key component (aside from the chest/arms) is your midline!! Stay uber tight and when you drive your palma back into the ground your belly better not move. (spoiler alert: the T2B will wreak some havoc on that too!!).
- All up a fine WoD that caters to the all-rounder. What would you call someone who is competent at fitness in a well rounded sense?? A CrossFitter! That's what!!
