- The 12 days of CrossFit Christmas are up!! How have you found the last 12 days of Benchmark & named WoDs?? We have thrown all bar the kitchen sink at you all and you have trooped through. Some may ask "why do all these workouts back to back?"
- Well for a start its dang fun!! But if we take a training-objective look at things it was asking you to see just how well rounded is your fitness? Did you find yourself faring better in the longer WoDs and not the short, sharp, heavy ones? Di your grip strength not last out like you thought it would? Or did you find that you started avoiding certain days altogether???????????
- In any case its given us (& hopefully you too if you've been on top of your BTWB logging) some important and useful data points. We can see where our strengths & weaknesses lie and this will help us prepare for the upcoming CrossFit Open!!!
- This WoD was created to honour U.S. Marine Cpl. Albert Gettings, 27, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, died on Jan. 5, 2009. Gettings was serving as a team leader with the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
- Every quarter, Cpl. Gettings’ fellow Marines in Fox Company complete a special CrossFit workout in his honor as part of the Cpl. Albert P. Gettings Award ceremony.
