- It's here!! The best time of year for CrossFitter's. The time where we get to take part in the worlds largest participatory event and have our Fitness put under the microscope.
- Sure it is uncomfortable i so many senses. You know the workouts are just gonna be hell to complete. You know the pressure of having people actually count your reps for you, (and shock-horror when they "no-rep" you!), You know that the thought of having your name on a leaderboard scares you, or for you seasoned vets out there, the thought of seeing your name against a lower placing than years past is down right confronting.
- Well what do we have to say about all that?? Simple. We say get over it, put your head down and just work. Whether your number goes up or down is down to so many variables that it doesn't just come down to you thinking "I'm not as fit as last year".
- And for those out there in the CrossFit galaxy who think the changes to the season format is reason enough not to support the Open, we say get over yourself. Absolutely nothing has changed with regard to people on the "everyday level" throwing their hat into the ring. We do it for fun, for community, for the memories it creates, for the PR's, and for the training goals once it is over.
- It all kicks off with some utter beautiful programming. Sheer simplicity at its best!! Say goodbye to your quads!!
- Let the fun begin! Good luck to everyone out there around the world taking part.
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
