 WoD: "To Me; To You"

In Pairs Complete As Many Rounds As Possible in 20 Minutes

of:

5 Squat Snatch

7 Chest To Bar Pull ups

  • Time for a good ole partner workout!! Working with a buddy allows us to garner a bit more intensity into a WoD as you often find we will push harder for a mate.
  • Today we go for 20 mins going back & forth, round for round. Get all your snatches & chest to bars complete then tag your mate in.
  • The snatch should be considered a moderate load due to the length of this workout and the potential for lots & lots of reps. Choose a weight you are comfortable with. One you might even use a warm up weight in other WoDs that carry less reps.
  • The 'C2B" is a simply a step-up from your normal pull up. All we are after is to carry our body just that little bit higher until our body actually connects with the bar itself. This is a cool skill to have and like any other skill its requires practice & exposure to learn and build volume. Why do chest to bar you say? No it is not for a competitive reason like the CrossFit Open or anything. It is simply a reminder of how high a pull up can be. Use today to remind ourselves where our chin is when we make that chest connection (quite high right?) and then keep that reminder in our head the next time a chin-over bar pull up comes up.
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.
  • Stay Humble. Work Hard. Be Happy.
