Strength WoD:

 [A]: Thruster

3 - 3 - 3 - 3

[B]: Front Squat

3 - 3 - 3

  • "Heavy Day" on the Rooftop
  • Two moves on the menu today. We start on the Thruster. The weight will naturally be lighter than the Front Squat sets at the very end however, push yourself to find the right weight that will force you to work hard for it. Don't lose your form or shape or anything but go after it. Remember too that a push jerk is not allowed! You MUST press the weight overhead so lock those quads & glutes on!!
  • After your Thruster sets continue the climb up & hit some Heavy Triples on your Front Squat. Where we will ask you to have your full grip on the bar for the Thrusters (resulting in a possibly lower set position in the rack), we will now ask you those elbows sky high!! Relax your grip if you need to prop the bar on your shoulders NOT your hands/wrists!
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.
