20 Ab-mat Sit Ups
.
- Look harmless enough right? Its "just" 10 minutes right? That weight is a bit light isn't it?
- If you thought any, or all of these things when you saw the WoD then you have missed the boat on it completely. 10 minutes will feel like a lifetime IF you attack this one with some uncomfortable pace. That is to say you want to come out chasing unbroken sets for as long as possible! The weight should feel light to start with because in a few minutes it WILL feel uncomfortably heavy! The pull ups, don't get caught out doing 2' & 3's after only a couple of minutes. Scale the number back or use a band (to which the number will be scaled back anyhow) to ensure you can get in/get out of those sharpish.
- Make no bones about it. This one will bite ONLY if you scale correctly. Who's got 6 rounds or more in them??
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
.
