Strength WoD: Strict Press

  • The secret to good strength over your head lies with a good, strong overhead strict press. This is a highly underrated movement that can reap HUGE reward.
  • Build slowly & in small doses as you go. If you miss a weight bring it right down again.
  • After each set jump up and perform a jig
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale As needed.

  • This is VERSUS Tabata. Meaning you do 20 Seconds of Strict Press, rest 10 seconds, then do 20 Seconds of Push-Ups & so on.
  • We will do 8 intervals of each movement going for MAX reps in each.
  • Score is total reps of each as well as the lowest interval score from each
