CBD BENCHMARK CYCLE WoD:

  • This is the second of your CrossFit CBD Benchmark Cycle for June! If you aren't aware yet of what that all means then read here to see the original Blog post, & then Click here to see ALL the Benchmark WoDs you will be getting tested on multiple times over the next year. To truly be varied in our Benchmarking & testing we must test across a multitude of modalities.
  • Today is THE benchmark of rowing! Going all out for 2000m is a physical test of course, but its also a mental test too. Set the actual target time you want into the "pace boat" setting & use that then to pace yourself appropriately to have the best chance of a PR. (Ain't no-one got time for aimless rowing!!).
  • This is it today. No part A's, no "Finishers". Just this 2000m. Go out there & ensure you aren't able to do anything else after you're done!
  • More is not better - Better is better! Make it happen!
  • Please remember, these particular Benchmark WoDs WILL be getting tested again within 4 months so be sure to ACCURATELY record, on your Beyond The Whiteboard account, any scaling or notes you will want to look back on when we do it again in October!
  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale as needed.

Great vid on the difference on using your legs as opposed to using your back. Really strive to use those pins. Don't overuse that back. Don't be that guy. 🙂
