- Great workout to work on your ability to push the pace today. We are mainly alluding to the runs that open each round. Given that you will be lying on the floor when back in the gym why don't we experiment and see just how we can push those runs. If you don't ever try to "max-out" in a WoD with the risk of burning out how will you ever know what your potential is???
- On the Floor Press there is also some potential here to really attempt large sets. The floor press is a great variation of the classic bench press which allows us to work solo without the need for a safety spotter. Be sure to apply all the good things you know from proper form push ups and translate them here to the external object. Horizontal pressing isn't seen a great deal in the CrossFit world hence its need to appear every now & then. Lately we have thrown a lot of push ups at you. This will only enhance you ability in that movement. Choose a weight that will challenge you but ultimately see you fare well in 1-2 sets in there opening rounds.
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
