- HoooooHah!!
- Within the CrossFit Community we describe fitness as "Increased Work Capacity Across Broad Time And Modal Domains". Very wordy and fancy way of saying we want to get as much done as we can in different plains of movements and times and loading etc. Yesterday we asked you to lift heavy. Like really heavy for you relatively and it showcased your strength levels. Today we ask you go another way with your fitness. That way is to go to a pace that you will struggle to keep but ultimately be able to keep working until the task at hand is complete.
- There are 300 reps ahead, all of which some would argue are "easy" & "simple" yet when you hit this one in the right vain (and of course, each & every one of us will) it will punch us in the face like cold fish straight out of the southern ocean!!
- There is essentially nothing in front of us to stop the work rate except for our mind. 50 med ball cleans is very doable unbroken but lots of folks struggle with that because of the repetitious nature of doing 50 reps. Yet hitting this section unbroken can easily replicate life itself. Life can be very repetitious yet we keep on marching. Show us your fitness by grabbing that ball, not letting go of it and in turn increase YOUR work capacity in this broad time and modality.
