- The Thruster is a full bodied, all in one, bang for buck for strength builder! Combining the front squat with the push press it embodies everything about the term "Core To Extremity".
- We want to produce as much power & speed when coming out of the squat in order to propel the bar off the shoulders as high as possible. If we do that and fully fully use the hips to pop it up then the press is made heaps easier. If we don't, and we make a labour-some effort to get the bar going you will know instantly just how hard that press overhead can feel.
- Use today to build some awesome confidence in this movement and gain some strength at the same time.
- Get around each other, today we will buddy up on the racks. Watch your buddies lift, grab sone high fives and let's roll!
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
