CBD Benchmark Cycle WoD:

Strength WoD: "The CrossFit Total"

For Load

Back Squat 1 - 1 - 1

Strict Press 1 - 1 - 1

 Deadlift 1 - 1 - 1

  • Time to see where we are at!!
  • Re-testing is a big part of fitness. Yes we want variance and to defy routine within CrossFit programming but if you don't look at where you are at at certain points you can forget where your progress is. For some it will mean new Personal Records (PRs). For others it may mean some regression. Yes it can happen. Fitness doesn't always keep going up and up and up. There are times where the numbers may lay flat where they were or they may take a step backward. This could be down to a number of reasons including (but not limited to) lifestyle factors, illness, times away on holiday or a combo of all them! BUT if you don't re-test you don't know where you are
  • Don't avoid this because you are afraid of "losing strength". Be big enough to know that life is long and your Fitness journey is long too. It WILL take ups and downs but that is all part of the experience.

  • The "CrossFit Total" is the benchmark in which to test & showcase your absolute strength. Remember you only have THREE attempts per lift after warm ups. Make them count!

  • Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
  • Scale As needed.
