- Working a technical lift for Strength Day today. doesn't mean we cant get after it!
- This complex offers us up the chance to move some challenging loads and still be able to focus on moving well. We call this lifting "sub-maximally" We can get a decent percentage of our current best snatch weight and add in some spice by performing three variations of the same move.
- Our focus today will be on nailing the positions in each move, and each phase of each move. Focus too on your footwork. Lots of missed lifts can be attributed to poor footwork. Next up is speed! Get moving under that barbell!! Ain't no one got time to be muscling a bar up and then haphazardly trying to get a squat out.
- Treat your arms like they are simply straps to the bar and we will have a good day.
- There will be a fair amount of warm up drills to help you gain confidence and prime yourselves for any loading that may become. Get on in. Move some weight and cheer your friends onto some PR's like they will you!!
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
