- Triple trouble yo!!
- The thing that jumps off the page is those TRIPLE UNDERS! We are interjecting some high skill into a seemingly simple WoD. By doing so we are trying to develop our skillset and move the needle to be 1% better each day. This is the way we keep making progress. Not just mindlessly plugging away at a barbell until plateaus hit. Anyone can play that game but if you really want to see yourself improving your overall fitness over the weeks, month & years ahead then you need to challenge yourself regularly. Try new things and learn progressions from the ground up.
- Many of us struggle with the double under. It seems such a far off land that you revert to single under week after week (not today yo! You will be working your attempts in the WoD itself). Then there are some that think double unders are "easy". These are the folks that have the skill in their pocket and can even sometime rest in WoDs during the skipping portion. Well we challenge those peeps to work on your triples and remember that feeling when you first started learning skipping in the first place. Sometime we can forget where it is we started. Today will be a handy reminder.
- The other two moves in the triplet will allow you to put some high power output into the round and keep moving through to ultimately a result of 5 to 8 rounds worth.
- Stay humble. Work hard. Be happy.
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
