- After the technicalities of yesterdays awesome WoD its time to spend a couple days hauling butt!!
- We are back on our old friend the Dumbbell, We LOVE "DB" training as it makes your body & brain think outside the box. By having to use each limb independently it creates better neural pathways which in turn develops your fitness in a magnificent way!!
- People hear the word "odd object" and assume that can only mean a sandbag or dead-ball or something. The fact is an odd-object is whatever you view it. If you predominately use barbells and pull up bars then using Dumbbells can be viewed as an odd-object.
- Couple that with the fact a DB always feels heavier than its Barbell equivalent, you KNOW you are getting stronger every time you pick them up.
- ANNNNNNNND lastly, using the DB's also allows us to train our "Unilateral" strength (this means single leg/single arm strength), which is great for addressing muscular imbalances between left and right. That alone makes the DB's blimp' awesome tools to use.
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Modify as needed.

Post your Number of REPS from each section to Beyond The Whiteboard.
Some people ask why we value Dumbbells so much. Well take a road again at the blurb above and have a little watch of this "golden Oldie" Journal video.
