Sumo Deadlift

.
- Strength Day y'all!
- The sumo stance Deadlift is a great variant form your "conventional" style of deadlifting. The wider stance allows us to rotate those hips outwardly and strengthen the glute's and the hip joint itself. Some will really take to this style of lift whilst others may struggle as compared to their conventional deadlift numbers. It may well come down to your body type, limb length, etc.
- Either way embrace this style of lift as it has some huge benefits to carry back to your conventional deadlift as well as your squatting numbers too! Win win!!
- Lift Heavy* Use spotter's. Have fun!!
- After each set perform 25 Hollow Rocks for QUALITY (modify to a Hollow Hold or "Deadbug" Hold for 30 seconds).
- *= "Heavy" is a relative term. Meaning that the actual number of kgs does not matter. What does matter is that YOU have lifted as Heavy as you were able to safely, & in turn YOU forced an adaptation upon your own body.
- Hold the standards. Form is priority as always.
- Scale as needed.
